In some jurisdictions, the state/county/city puts out a pamphlet to registered voters that gives statements from the campaigns/politician. It's basically free advertising. In PA, it's done independently by the League of Women Voters (but appears in the newspaper/online instead).

there's a live show right now on Broadway featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda, Uzo Aduba and Sara Bareilles. it's a fundraiser but is being shown live on Facebook. Sara Bareilles

When the Dodgers faced the Cubs in Chicago for a regular-season series back in May, the team stayed at the Trump International Hotel and Tower -- except for first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.
The Dodgers' slugger made accommodations to stay elsewhere during that trip, presumably because the hotel is owned by Donald Trump, according to JP Hoornstra of the Long Beach Press-Telegram.
“I didn’t stay there,” Adrian Gonzalez confirmed. “I had my reasons.”
While the Trump International Hotel and Tower has been the Dodgers' team hotel in Chicago for years, they did not stay there during their trip for the NLCS for logistical reasons, according to the team.
