ISIL has booby-trapped parts of Mosul, making it a slow-go thus far. Also, several fighters have used their passports to return to the EU. They're ceding part of Mosul and their 'caliphate' and will likely use terror as their device of choice going forward.

20 people in the same family were wiped out in Aleppo by airstrikes. Russia announced shortly after it would TEMPORARILY stop its strikes. they are simply striking the populace at large with no rhyme or reason.

parts of the city look like a goddamn ghost town.

Toomey is still consistently running 4-6 points ahead of Trump. Was it long enough ago that I said Clinton by 6+ would put Toomey away that I can claim victory?

Significant portions of the city have been a ghost town for months and months. The video below was from June 2015. Its been well past tragic for a very long time.

Even if the Dems take the senate they need to act fast - they will most likely lose it in 2 years. Blow up the filibuster and get as many justices as you can to the Supreme Court. Winning the house would be useful for other things too.
