NYT: Federal prosecutors say Chris Christie knew about bridge lane closings in real time.

hehehehehe

They're believing Wildstein's account. If Christie wasn't dead to me, I'd invest more energy defending him, but I'm not sure how much faith should be put in the prosecutor's theory from such a person. If Christie was involved I'm not sure how he's not indicted and why Kelly or Baroni isn't rolling on him. Though for them to trust a POS like Wildstein he might have actual evidence to back that up. We'll see soon enough.

Yeah, I mean it's not a smoking gun or anything close to that...but curious they're mentioning it now. I'm assuming they have some evidence that will show up at trial but we'll see.

federal prosecutors aren't known to bring up charges on 50/50 cases.

It's one thing to think you are doing a noble deed and expose domestic surveillance programs. I think some if not most people would have a degree of empathy.

He didn't just cross that line, he blew through it like Rick James at a cocaine plantation.

As for the Congressional oversight, yes, major, major problem. Big money ensured the Congressfolks would be bought and stay bought.

General, it feels like you're in a pretty good position to assess this rationally.

And the rest of us aren't, for many reasons, but at least one of which is that we seem to conduct our wars.... more in secret nowadays, without even the ritual of Congressional oversight, than we used to. Also that a component of this newfangled warfare seems to involve having authorized snoopers up in our underwear drawers.

The PA 16th. It's just so natural these constituents would all be together and represented by one person.

cease-fire failed. out-of-country aid did not get past the border and an airstrike hit an in-country inter-agency convoy delivering aid. aid also didn't get to rebel-held parts of Aleppo, only to government-held parts.
