I am a libertarian and I fear a Trump Presidency. If the polls are close, I'll be voting Clinton. If the polls in PA are not close, I'll vote libertarian. I don't think Clinton is going to change very much, but that is quite appealing in the face of a Trump Presidency.

So your point is that Hillary is a superior candidate to Trump, but she won't bring "change," but we're fearmongerers for obsessing over how Trump is unhinged/unfit for office--and that we dwell on "mainstream updates," whatever the hell that means.
