surrogate Boris says that the big T has never said anything bad about Mexico!?!

maybe that is true, he only said bad things about Mexicans, the country itself is just great, too bad about the people.

Boris is citing online polls as legit.

He goes on to talk about how Sec State failed the Vets. I never knew just how powerful state is. Apparently the whole of government runs through it. Wow. If citizens are that stupid, then we deserve it.

I'm generally in favor of a higher minimum wage, but isn't $15, more than twice the federal minimum, fairly 'radical'? just seems like 10-12 would be a safer step

well, they're starting at NJ's, which is over $8 and already tied to the CPI. They'll also be competing against NY, which is going to $15 soon enough.


Also, you sound like HIllary Clinton. She was for a $12 minimum wage with the option for local municipalities to go higher until that was deemed a neoliberal position so she went to $15 everywhere.

I'm not exactly for $15 an hour but it's a good starting point to negotiate from.

giving someone a livable wage doesn't seem radical, no. try to make the math work for you, & a hypothetical kid for about 1900 a mo post taxes. they aren't going to be buying gold plated dildos or whatever that would make this a radical proposal.

fwiw, they did plan on a rather gradual increase.
The measure sought to raise the minimum wage from $8.38 to $10.10 on Jan. 1, 2017, and then by more than $1.25 an hour until 2021. After 2021, the minimum wage would increase annually based on changes in the consumer price index.

Pena-Nieto made the point that illegal guns are funneled from the US to Mexico and help fuel their drug war (plus our demand here).

also said that he shares Trump's opinion that NAFTA has been good for both countries
