Several lawmakers say a delegate who sponsored the bill, Scott Cadle (R - Mason, 13), brought in the drinks.

"[Cadle] caught me in the hallway, offered a cup to me, and you want to try to be a gentleman," McGeehan said. "I had a small sip and walked away and tossed the rest of it."

"I highly doubt raw milk had anything to do with it, in my case," McGeehan said.

According to the Kanwaha-Charleston Health Department, raw milk can contain dangerous bacteria and parasites.

But, supporters say, raw milk has a higher nutritional content and is more ethical.

"I don't think it's any riskier than eating raw oysters or anything like that," McGeehan said.

McGeehan believes the milk you drink is a personal choice.

get your government hands off my milk

to be fair, I don't think the government should have a right to tell you you can't drink what you want
but the dummies should be aware that raw milk drinkers have built up an immunity to most of what makes you sick
personally I would love to have certain raw cheeses available

Regardless of the merits of raw milk, often food "safety" regulations are not as much about consumer safety as they are about protecting incumbent businesses. It's not as bad as the liquor industry in that regard but there are lots of examples. Of course, the "let the market decide" won't work either, as there are vast information asymmetries between the business and consumer so we do have to look at this on a case by case basis. For instance, it is possible that backyard, unregulated eggs are probably safer than the ones you might buy in the grocery store.

Roosters. You need those.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Why do action figures (and bobble heads) never look like the person they're supposed to look like?

Thoughts on the racist piece of shit who sucker punched that black kid at the Trump rally because "he might've been an ISIS terrorist"?

It's getting ugly out there. This is today's Republican party.

These are the same idiots obsessed with reality TV. Bad behavior isn't just accepted, it's celebrated. Act like a decent human being and nobody is interested. Beat your wife and act like a complete racist? Now you have something interesting, maybe even a tv deal..

Yup. Pretty disturbing.

Trump bears a lot of responsibility here. When you say at your rally that you would like to punch a protester in the face and one of your supporters actually does, your rhetoric is a problem.

DiM, idk what you're talking about. Obviously, the campaign doesn't endorse this behavior.

Later at the same rally, the Times reports, Trump mourned the passing of “the good old days” when “this doesn’t happen,” as other protestors were removed. “They used to treat them very, very rough, and when they protested once, they would not do it again so easily.”

A campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said that the campaign had “no control” over what Trump’s supporters do. “We obviously discourage any kind of physical contact or engagement with protesters,” she said.
