I wish Trump weren't nearing prohibitive favor status, because it's amusing in a trainwreck sort of way.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

How old is Uncle Bernie?

What could give you confidence that, at this stage of life, he is going to master Econ 101 when his entire platform relies on ignorance of it?

That's like expecting Drumpf to "benefit from refinement" and hence stop being vulgar.

These leopards have their spots.

I agree, Drumpf is so wretched that comparing Sanders to him is not useful. But nor is it useful to pretend that Sanders is offering any solutions. "Less terrible than Drumpf" is hardly a compelling slogan.

He doesn't have to master econ 101, because

1) as we all know, econ 101 is barely relevant to policymaking and
2) what he actually needs is more capable budget people. The man's been in charge of a decent-sized city government. He may not like enduring financial status meetings, but he knows how to add, subtract, multiply & divide. He just needs to tidy up the org chart and devote more attention to the numbers. Not now, but should he get lucky and be nominated.

trumodrumpf, on the other hand, is deeply, appallingly stupid and incapable of fathoming how absurd the crap that comes out of his pighole is. He genuinely believes that it doesn't matter.

This is the twenty-fucking-first century and no one is making buggywhips, and the labor component of whatever they are making is for shit. Info technology makes owning far, far more important than earning. There's work to be done by people, but far too little of it, and increasingly less of it.

We need to come to an understanding of what constitutes a rightful share of ownership, and better at least start practicing doing so, before the torches get lit and the unfortunate "too wealthy" (most of whom probably won't be the right victims, but will be victims nonetheless) get hung from lampposts.

Instead of transitioning out of making buggy whips, those people should hire lobbyists to get Washington to protect their industry.

Conservative talk radio has been all on fire for Ted Cruz today, I assume as a last-minute attempt to hold down Trump's margins of victories (rather than trying to push Rubio's numbers up), in an effort to limit his win today so Rubio can get back on top in the winner-take-all states.

I.e., try to split "The Donald"'s vote the way Rubio's has been split, to give Rubio the edge.

Or hell, maybe they see this as opening up a path for Cruz. Get Cruz some of Trump's support, some of Rubio's support, hope Cruz carries Texas tonight, gets over the 20% threshold in some other states to win some delegates, then win plurality victories in the big winner take all states.

so how much meat is behind this secret Trump tape that the NY TImes supposedly has (off the record convo where Trump makes statements that he wouldn't really follow through with his promises on the wall and immigration)?

If it's true, it probably won't hurt him with his base and will help him with moderates.

Cruz has no path. He's not polling well enough beyond Texas. This is Rubio's path (aside from winning Texas...he just needs the 20% threshold).

It's probably legit but who cares? Trump won't let them release it so it's basically a non-story.

That's what they used to call unions before Reagan and his progeny got ahold of them.

Can you imagine this man. Can you imagine this bloated tub of plastic ego standing in front of some UN council, US flag pin on his lapel, purporting to represent this fucking great country?

You gotta love the Republican establishment trying to distance themselves from Trump. Too little too late. Where were they when Republican politicians were saying racist crap for years? They were silent as long as it benefited them.

The Republican establishment is responsible for Donald Trump.
