Yeah, those were already on the board (not this board - "the board") when I posted so I figured everyone knew. Was trying to "live update" the latest poll closings.

If Trump somehow wins this thing though, I would legitimately be afraid for our country.

The rights played on fear for decades to win elections. Trump's the master of it.

Hell yes.

I dont give 2 craps about the "party." They made this mess.

Drumpf is a fascist. I'm not ready for our founders' great experiment to end.

Sanders would be the Worst President Ever, but we'd survive. Not so sure with Drumpf.

Almost as bad as Drumpf are the sniveling weasels getting in line in case he takes power, like Chris Christie, the worst pig in American political history.

Any sentient American must put aside any notion of party loyalty and think about survival of the nation.

Trump wins VA.

I should have left my prediction up.

I gotta think this might be the end of Rubio.

Before I posted the above I was about to say it's looking to me that every establishment candidate is going to walk out of this with a narrative to stay in the race - Kasich appears to have won VT based on what I am seeing, Cruz will win TX and is competitive in OK and AR, and Rubio VA... but he lost VA. Of the three establishment candidates, Rubio has to be the odd man out... unless Kasich doesn't win VT. Then they all stay in. Sheesh.

Most of these states (if not all) are some sort of weighted proportion. That's why not winning isn't really the same thing as losing.

Now once we hit OH and FL...it could be very over very fast.

Rubio really needs to hit 20% in Texas though for at least a moral victory.

I get the weighted proportion thing... delegate counts, etc.... but the headlines matter too. If Rubio doesn't "win" anywhere (I imagine MN will be close as well), and other candidates have... somebody's got to drop out or Trump will win this thing. It's time for Republicans to decide if they are, in fact, Republicans, or is it really just the collapse of the party and anarchy and every man for himself.

Rubio is not going anywhere and needs to pray that Kasich doesn't win VT and Kasich needs to get the hell out...unfortunately for Rubio he won't until OH. It's just the perfect shitstorm for them with OH and FL being winner take all on the same day...two states that they need to take from Trump and two states that they each have a tie to. Shit, even that may not be enough to save Rubio, but Kasich should take Ohio.

I would reiterate, as this Republican dude on MSNBC is doing right now, that Rubio should probably think twice about running in his own state if polls really are showing he's going to lose, as they do now. It's be one thing if he were putting "wins" on the board right now. But it just isn't happening for him right now. A loss in his own state in his own party's primary could be a career killer.

Getting smoked by Donald Trump here is basically a career killer anyway. Go down with the ship.
