Love this line....

The Federal Aviation Administration recently banned low-flying planes from flying over the site, since engines plus combustible gas equals kaboom.

profile of Sean Hannity

a few thoughts:

- Hannity is called Mr Nice Guy. FOX apparently has such terrible people that he's the nice guy there
- he sure does like to make sure you know he's a MAN
- you can tell FOX wants to do away with this guy

as the economy improve, people are increasingly scared about terrorism

sigh

gettin' fooled by ISIL:
The poll found a real partisan gap. Twenty-four percent of Republicans see terrorism as the country's biggest issue today; the figure is 9 percent for Democrats. By contrast, at the beginning of November, just 4 percent of Republicans and 3 percent of Democrats saw terrorism as America's biggest problem. So while concerns about terrorism have spiked in both parties, the trend is much more pronounced among Republicans.
Peter Neumann, director of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, told me last week that the risk to Americans from future ISIS attacks on the homeland is very low. The group has a very hard time getting trained operatives to the States and has relatively few homegrown sympathizers here.
ISIS's strategy, instead, depends on convincing Americans that it poses a major threat, instilling a sense of panic and terror that leads US policymakers to respond in ways that serve ISIS's interests. Discriminating against Muslim refugees in a way that helps ISIS paint the US as an enemy of Islam is one example.
"Terror is a sensation that depends on you believing there is more to it than there is — that there is a whole movement behind these people in San Bernardino," Neumann explained. "And the reality is, of course, there isn't."

How do the pollsters reach the people hiding in their underground bunkers??
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Iran had no nuclear capability and was not actively seeking nukes since 2009, says IAEA:

It is important to read this paragraph carefully. The Director General writes that the agency finds no “credible” indication of diversion of material. This means that there have been some indicators of diversion, but that they have been uncompelling. Moreover, the inclusion of the word “indication” means that the inspectorate cannot say—with an acceptable degree of certainty—that all nuclear material in Iran remains in peaceful use.

Paragraph 77 of the report hides another important conclusion, namely that the agency “has not found indications of an undeclared nuclear fuel cycle in Iran, beyond those activities declared retrospectively by Iran.” This language is more assertive, as it excludes the word “credible”, and bodes well for the future implementation of the JCPOA; it also builds confidence that all material in Iran is used for peaceful purposes. If the agency has not found any indicators that there are more nuclear sites in Iran, it is highly probable that the JCPOA implementation framework captures all relevant production facilities in the country. In practice, this means that there will be international monitoring of all potential pathways leading to the fabrication of weapons components.

A careful examination of the Director General’s report should lead the reader to conclude that Iran, over the past 20 years, made some considerable progress towards nuclear weapons acquisition, but that the country still had some way to go. Most development activities ended in 2003. Iran dabbled in computer modeling of nuclear weapons designs up to 2009 after which this work appears to have stopped as well. In any case, the Agency notes that this work was “incomplete and fragmented.”

what happened in 2009 was the disputed Iranian presidential election

Turns out another state found no issue with what Planned Parenthood was doing with fetal tissue. Ohio announced on Friday (news dump time) nothing was illegal. They found a way to still go after them:
The non-profit agency’s lawsuit is in response to the Ohio Attorney General’s press conference on Friday, where he stated that fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood centers in Ohio were being disposed of in a landfill in Kentucky. In the press conference, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine called the disposal inhumane and said he would ask the court to approve an injunction against Planned Parenthood.

PP had to file a lawsuit to remain open while they show that they are not 'steam cooking' fetal tissue before dumping them in landfills against state law. They are actually following state law like any other medical outfit.

Basically he's probably banking on people being grossed out with how we dispose of medical waste.

if core inflation is at 2% and there is no deflation i dont know why it's a big fucking deal, that's all. the economy is actually making a positive dent into people's everyday lives right now and so we want to put some brakes on it to appease the WSJ and the 'consensus'? .
