If I found a legitimate book that would offer the Republican field vs Hillary I would probably put a healthy sum on the field.

Demographically it's very difficult for the GOP to win the White House currently. However, Large demographic parts of democrat voters don't vote in midterm elections. They need to find a way to get them out to the polls or else you'll continue to see gridlock

This is more an indictment of the quality of american education than the depravity of socialism

The Social Studies teacher on my team at my old school called Obama a socialist. I asked what she meant, how is he a socialist. She couldn't even tell me what a socialist was. The word is poison. If Bernie was a bit younger and people knew what he actually believed, instead of some cartoon idea of a socialist, I think he would give Clinton a serious run for her money. Unfortunately, those two "ifs" are definitely not happening.

people are becoming more acceptable of socialist ideals because more and more are learning that socialsts in this country don't want to make us like the Soviets, they just want to reduce the inequality a little bit. the leader of the socialist party in america wants things like democratically elected leaders and competitive(but actually fair) markets. the fact that Bernie is polling as well as he is indicates that.
