What do you guys think of Kasich?

Does he have any type of a shot?

Hard as it is to Trump as a victim, the fact that everyone was lining up to take shots at him probably just solidified support among those inclined to support him. Are they really going to be swayed by the fact that it was pointed ut he was rude to Carly Fiorina or Jeb Bush's wife? Those are points n his favor.

It doesn't seem like he had as much energy. It's possible he's become bored with this whole thing and will find some new playground sooner rather than later.

truthfully if the GOP wants to have a real shot then he should be their nominee (Rubio imo is their second best option)

-doesn't push against gay rights and other hot social topics that the majority support
-hasn't alienated women or hispanics in some major way yet
-is from a purple state that will be key in the electoral college (and is still popular there unlike Walker for example)
-is far from bat shit crazy unlike half the field currently
-has proven to successfully work both in federal and state government and be able to compromise to get stuff done

that said he gets labelled as a RINO by the far right so it begs the question is if he is conservative enough to win the nomination

Yeah, I totally agree with all this. And I think he has come off better than anyone in the first two "debates."

I see him as a sensible guy who can win a national election.

Plus, it is easier to "look" like you are winning when you are the only one allowed to talk and there is a fixed picture of you on the TV screen throughout the "debate". I thought Smitty's description of the event was dead-on. It was like watching an episode of The Real World. Despite CNN's stated goal of a "debate...a true debate", every segment started with "______ said _______ about _______, how do you respond?".

For example, "Mrs. Fiorina, I want to start with you. Fellow Republican candidate, and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, has suggested that your party’s frontrunner, Mr. Donald Trump, would be dangerous as President. He said he wouldn’t want, quote, “such a hot head with his finger on the nuclear codes. You, as well, have raised concerns about Mr. Trump’s temperament. You’ve dismissed him as an entertainer. Would you feel comfortable with Donald trump’s finger on the nuclear codes?"

"Governor Christie, I want to ask you about something that Dr. Carson said the other day. Dr. Carson said campaigning is easier for him, because he’s not a politician. He can just tell the truth, therefore, while politicians, quote, “Have their finger in the air to see and do what is politically expedient". Governor Christie, tell Dr. Carson, is that a fair description of you?".

Well, so much for a "true debate". At least we found out that Trump actually thinks that Fiorina is "beautiful".

Trump saying he thinks Fiorina is "beautiful" was a bigger lie than Clinton saying he didn't bang Monica.
