2. Trump has crested. It should be obvious to even the lowest information voter (who wouldn't have been watching tonight anyway) that he is blowing smoke, and once he settled in and tried to fit in with the other candidates, he just came across as uninformed and, surprisingly, rather dull.

3. Jeb was much better.

4. Walker got kind of ignored, but he'll bide his time. He's a serious player.

5. Paul tried to position himself as the adult in the room... interesting, but

wrong party.

6. Rubio was strong on foreign policy; distinguished himself.

7. Fiorina did great.

8. Kasich's "above the fray" act isn’t working.

6.

this is spot on, except for the second 6.

I think Rubio will be on the ticket, not sure if it will be as prez. I think it will be Vice prez to Bush or Walker, probably Bush.

The GOP needs Rubio on the ticket before they lose the Latino/Spanish/whatever vote forever.

Can they both be on the ticket? Does either one have an official residence not in FL?

Abolish income taxes and create a national sales tax on everything. I've been a fan of this for years.

Also, I mean, there is literally 0 chance I vote for Hillary Clinton, but for Carly Fiorina to suggest her track record or resume is better than Hillary's is absolutely laughable.

Sales taxes are the most regressive tax there is.

Bernie Sanders during debate:

“Rich get richer. Median family income $5k less than in 1999. One of the highest rates of childhood poverty. Any discussion?” he asked as the debate droned on. “Have you heard anyone use the word poverty yet? 47.7 million Americans living in poverty. No discussion.” Still later he tweeted: “Waiting, waiting, waiting. Will we hear anything about racial justice, income inequality or making college affordable?”

Kim Davis got more coverage tonight in the Republican debate than poverty in America, apparently. Your Grand Ol' Party.

Me too. If they reduced the sales tax and started up an income tax I'd be happy. Not gonna happen though. No way. No how.

Never use "Chris Christie" and "naked" in the same sentence. Ever.

ahh, that makes sense now. Somebody else said they couldn't be on the same ticket one other day and I didn't catch why. I didn't think about that rule. Ok, so maybe Walker/Rubio?

I really think they need him on the ticket. I guess you could point out that Bush has little brown ones around the house, but I'm not sure the electorate will buy that. I'm pretty sure Walker is evil though, so I'm hoping he's not the guy.

Rubio blurted out the word "economy" once, then, realizing his error, changed the subject

I can't watch this stuff. It must be a challenge for SNL to be funnier than the real thing.

As recently as 2000, I could learn stuff by watching debates. I'd love to see the field winnowed to Paul, Kasich, and Fiorina so that an intelligent discussion might ensue - but no chance of that.
