I mean, there have been multiple female game developers now who have fled their homes because of death threats, but free speech or whatever. Or the always popular sarcastic "they're death threats on the internet, they're not serious". Idk about you, I wouldn't take the chance...

She was telling me about Dawali since that's happing today and the Hindu Godess Laxmi. We’ve been having a shitty week at work, so I kind of casually joked if there’s a Hindu God of Good Luck because we could use it. Immediately after I said it I realized it was a dumb thing to say. I thought on my feet and said, "because I think in Catholicism there's a Saint of Good Fortune" (which there probably isn't I'm sure). She gave a half hearted laugh.
