Cool story:

My roommates went out to this horrible dive bar by our place because they have a beer pong tournament every Thursday and they give out like $200 if you win. They ended up tied for second after round robin, but got left out of the championship game. My one roommate was asking why this was the case, and the guy who owns the bar(he was wasted) gets the bouncers to drag him out by the neck. Outside, he was talking to the bouncers asking what he did wrong. My other roommate is doing the same thing to another security guard, the security guard threatens to mace him. He responds "So, you're going to mace me?", he maces him. While all of this was going on the girlfriend of maced roommate is taking videos. Third bouncer comes over, takes her phone, pushes he to the ground, and deletes the video.

Cops came and basically backed up the security guards. Nobody got arrested or anything confiscated and they were allowed to drive home even though the cops told them they were all drunk(they were buzzed, but not completely shitfaced or anything). They're all obviously pissed. I'm glad I decided to stay home and play FIFA. Anyone have any advice on what they should do about it?

Don't go back to that bar?

obvi. think they're going to try to call the police about it or something.

What's the upside to going to the police? I mean, I guess the downside isn't huge either, but good lord most police departments aren't gonna give a shit about this.

that's pretty much what i told them. the police were there last night anyway. their new plan is to get a buncha people to call the liquor control board and report them for allowing in minors. this bar is janky enough that it might work. i'm really not that invested, i just think it sucks my roommate got maced for no reason.

lesson: don't go to janky bars.

You're friends are fucking idiots for escalating the situation. If a friend gets dragged out then you just up and leave. No point in arguing because only bad shit will happen.

Not sure that asking a bouncer what happened makes him an idiot, but they probably should have just left. Heck, they probably shouldn't have been arguing about stupid shit like beer pong results, but I can't fault them much for what happened outside.

if the guy says he's going to mace you and you keep talking to him its going to get bad. you can't get rational with the irrational.

So the 150th playing of the Lafayette-Lehigh football rivalry (oldest in the US) will be in Yankee Stadium next year. As a Lafayette alum, I'm wondering if I should go. I don't care about college football at all (I only attended the actual game once while in college) but it's a pretty cool occasion. Also I've not yet been to New Yankee Stadium so there's that.

Alarm clock, cable box, computers and cell phone all changed for DST automatically. Please hold your applause.

Remember when Windows would give you a little pop-up reminder that your clock had been updated? That was useful.

Speaking of clocks being updated, is the time stamp on others' posts now out of sync as well?

Mine's back in sync. I think the 'is it dst?' option doesn't automatically change or something in your settings.

Was clicking around on twitter and it brought me to this girl's page that does stuff with the Preston and Steve show. Turns out she used to live a block up the street. Her dad was the pastor at the church that they also lived next to.

Also turns out she is now a stripper.

Wonder if that is a common thing, pastor kids turning into strippers?
