you could also write a python/Bash script in about 30 seconds that would copy/paste everything for you that you could run periodically.

Not via that, but if you use iftt you can have your phone auto synch all your photos to Dropbox which will auto synch with your desktop.

You can do the same thing with Ubuntu One

With all the "sync" solutions, however: when I delete them from my phone, won't they get deleted from my PC also?
