I think it's a massive overreach by the prosecutor to charge this guy. The bar's already been in trouble for over-serving, and I don't have an issue about that. So because he bought her a drink, he's going to jail, possibly? It's a sad story for sure, but still seems odd to charge someone because he bought a girl a round of drinks.

Yeah, not having any game shouldn't be a crime.

my buddy has an rv for some reason and we were driving down delaware ave and some asshole drunks jumped on it and were trying to ride it down the street. he and his friend get out and instigate further while i stay in the rv. i get told that they're seriously fighting so of course i get out and try to break things up a bit. my friend is on the ground getting beat pretty good so i'm trying to hold this guy back and i get sucker punched in the goddamn face and yell 'what the fuck? im not even throwing any punches!' and to the asshole's credit, he did not continue punching me in the face. and the guy getting my friend did stop so it served its purpose, but goddamn. i thought the guys going 'hey break it up' were like the UN peacemakers of fights! face hurts a tad but its not too visible so i'm hoping its gone tomorrow so i dont have to come up with some excuse at work.

That's only in hockey wherethe peacemakers are off limits. Irl anyone in the way is fair game.

That sucks. Some dude broke my nose sucker punching me in a bar fight way back in college. Seems like its a common occurrence. Gotta keep that head on a swivel.

anybody have a good home remedy for warts? I've probably had 50-60 on my right hand over the last few years. go to the doctor, get them burned off, a few more come back in a couple of weeks. never get them anywhere else except my hand and it's getting pretty scarred up from all the removals. looking for something different. maybe go to a dermatologist?

I cut one off of my elbow using a pair of scissors when I was in jr high. Bled and bled and bled but never came back. YMMV

Ran a personal best 3 miles today. Only started working out and eating on a diet the past week and a half. Down 4 pounds, I'm extremely happy.

Lots of drunks do. Especially drunks who are already fighting.

You should keep a tire iron handy for these types of situations. People who break up fights toting tire irons rarely, if ever, get sucker punched.

watched Rosemary's Baby over the weekend. Trying to decide if it would be worth the trouble of setting up the ipod to wake us up to the theme.

Was on vacation for the last week. Came home to find a nice 2 foot hole cut into my convertible top. I want blood.

I used to mow a few neighborhood yards back in the 80s. I got 10 bucks then, and no tip. 10 bucks would be enough to buy a tank of gas, and the yard wasn't that big. I'd say you're underpaying, but I was probably over paid.
