I keep hearing about what an advantage the incumbent has. No doubt that an incumbent president does have one, but could it be overstated? 2 of the 5 presidents in my lifetime (born 1978, and I am excluding Obama for now) have been one termers, and there have not been three consecutive presidents elected to two terms each since Jefferson-Madison-Monroe (if Obama is reelected, it will be Clinton-Bush-Obama)

Gerald Ford? He kind of had a shitty hand dealt.

I would count Roosevelt-Truman-Eisenhower.

to be fair, romney was 33 by the time 1978 came around and Mormons realized they read their book wrong for 150 years. so it wasn't 20 years, correct.

uhm, you wouldnt know since you wouldnt exist. your statement blows MY mind.

there is no reason to stigmatize abortion. the thing most people for its legality is they want it safe, legal and for there to be support for the woman and her choice. it's not my or your business, in all honesty, to stick our nose in our on her choice and wag our finger at her and make her life a living hell.

people are not for aborting everyone everywhere. they are for the legality of the option. seems pretty simple.
