it is, and it's also vastly overdiagnosed. Likewise, there may be unkown long-term effects of lyme disease other than the known symptoms (joint pain, mostly) but it seems like anyone who has had lyme and feels tired occasionally thinks they have chronic lyme.

Chronic fatigue syndrome is also real. My college girlfriend had it--she was diagnosed when we were seniors and it bothered her into her 30s. Around the time she got over it, her husband got it.

it was like a goddamn rowhome in bengazhi. at this point, our embassies are usually almost modern fortresses. pretty big screwup to not get moving on building a new one in bengazhi.

When my plane landed yesterday (early afternoon), the older guy sitting across the aisle from me turned on his phone, and his wife immediately started pressing for Ryder Cup updates. I was shocked that anyone cared enough.
