But they still have to fight the wars, right?

The income distribution of the troops mirrors that of the general population, but is slightly overrepresented by the wealthy. Image

so is newt going to get out of this thing and let Santorum win or is Mitt paying newt to stick around long enough for him to get the nomination?

Is median neighborhood income really a great proxy for family income? There are some pretty large holes in the logic behind that chart.

And how do you define neighborhood? And does it include say national guard recruits? And if it includes rural areas (where lots of recruits come from) including small towns then you should understand that neighborhoods outside of metropolitan areas are socio-economically quite diverse and thus the chart is bullshit.

And the chart isn't adjusted for cost of living. A kid from a poor neighborhood in nyc might still have a median household income of 60 70 k.

Mormons are trying to take over the country. They own Pepsi and are making us fat and lazy so they can control us.

Also, Mitt is Mexican and therefore not able to be POTUS. It's a shame because I really like his hair and the way he strapped his dog to the top of his car.

I thought it was Coke they owned. Anyway, I know whichever one they do own is the only one they're allowed to drink, despite it previously being against their religion. Religion is LOL embarrassing sometimes.

Why would people think the Mormons own publicly traded companies worth ~$100-150 bil?

well I was just joking about the pepsi thing. I thought that was obvious. It's an urban legend.

I wasn't joking about Mitt being a Mexican though. His grandfather moved there to be able to have multiple wives and Mitt's father was born there. If Mitt was black and his father was Muslim (see: Obama's birth certificate fiasco), this would be a problem, but it's ok because Mitt is white and he's mormon.

actually being mormon is not ok, especially to the socially conservative aka the religious right, the same people who think obama is muslim. hell, even with the rather large mormon population out here in az, they are discriminated against in the polls by a large amount of those who are far from even considered being the religious right. the only reason nappy became governor out here was because she ran against a mormon.

Try the challenge with some missionaries biking by. Stop them and ask them to blindly try Coke or Pepsi,,, just remember, they are not Amish, so they likely have cell phones.

I do have to say this line of discussion is one of the silliest I have seen to date.

I did not see this posted, but the VA sonogram bill will not be signed by Gov. Bob McD. It seems that most people did not understand that the procedure would require the woman to be violated with a probe to get the imagery in the bill. That is one step too far for Bob (good for him). The fallout is exciting as it is a dumbfounded mix of slamming the Governor for backing away and ducking for cover over the lack of understanding of what is spelled out in the bill (transvaginal sonogram). The meat grinder is going to chew up a lot of people inside the state Government and in the influence group communities, especially those going with the 'who cares' line of attack to push the bill through. I sense a seismic shift in the political landscape in VA unless this goes away immediately.
