Took a potassium supplement pill and have not been thirsty since. Hm.

Oh that is good stuff. Hardly any of it makes it to the cereal bowl, though. It's too good to snack on (eh, just one more pinch).

srsly, it's like crack. I can't keep it in the house because I'll just eat the whole box one handful at a time. In a day.

They now make "Frosted Toast Crunch" too. Bought a box and it's very disappointing.

we have an 8 hour brainstorming (they're calling it "ideation") meeting today. one of my anonymous suggestions was to set the building on fire, excited to see the discussion for that.

Postby 1 » Fri Jan 20, 2012 10:48:23

so last night i'm at this bar that is overrun with former students of mine (i need a drink after witnessing yet another drubbing of our girls basketball team). i run into one of them on the way in and we start talking. before long he says, "so, are you still... you know, smoking?" and i'm all like "what? why would you ask that?" all the while thinking how in the world this guy would know anything like that about me. he tells me this story about how one time my laptop bag fell off my desk, a bowl fell out, and i quickly picked it up thinking that no one else saw it. he says he saw it.

so this got me wondering:

1. did this actually happen? no i never took a bowl to work with me, but did i drop something else that looks like one? (he insists it was a bowl and that he would know)

2. which idiot with which i work actually did this?

3. even if it wasn't me, was this a rumor that spread and did my students (or at least his circle of friends) think i was nyxing during school?

4. is the kid just as dumb as ever?

fun night.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.
