it's pretty good

last few haircuts I've gotten (aside from that time over the summer I was on a bender and tried to shave my own head) were by some old dude on 19th near Chestnut. The first few times I went I really liked what he did but I've been less impressed as time has gone on. I need a haircut pretty bad but I might just ride out the winter and let it grow. Fuck it.

My busy season is finally over (I still work 7 days but my workload is significantly lessened) but I don't feel like doing anything this weekend. I mean ANYTHING

I seriously want to play video games Friday then order a pizza and watch TEBOW Saturday

Also I am a hopeless caffeine addict now

I don't drink much coffee or tea, but it's enough to make me miserable if I don't and crash in the middle of the day if I do

The one right after I decided to quit was awful. It was like a combover except I only had hair on the back 1/3 of my head. I looked like an Arkham committal. It was only like 8 a.m. on a Monday after waking up at 4:30 from being drunk since Saturday night, and I walked to the nearest barbershop at 15th and Christian to get it cleaned up. It wasn't open til 10, so I walked back home, went to sleep for a few hours. It was very clearly a Muslim barbershop, and I'm pretty sure I've been their only white customer this year. I walked in with a hat on asking the guy not to laugh at me when I took it off, and he was pretty cool about it. He cleaned it up, told me to let my gash heal and come back in a week and charged me 20 bucks for a cleanup. I never went back because it all grew just fine. I wore a hat a lot the next couple weeks. Can't believe he charged me full price.

i figure adding coffee or tea to my caloric intake would make me gain weight at this point.

i get real tired midday, though.

that gash made me cringe a bit. gotta admit that i wouldn't have the balls to shave my head myself. especially while drunk.

I probably only had the balls because I was drunk. Also, because I was drunk I forgot where my other razors were or I'd have finished the job a little easier. I knew the blade was getting dull while I was doing it but the gash is what made me stop. It was really not that big a deal afterward but the barber cleaned up around it pretty well.

shaving your own head is pretty easy, I've done it lots of times. the only problem is the hair at the bottom on your neck, need someone else to clean that up for you

The best part of that is "punching a janitor again."
