I was just in a meeting where we had to say something interesting about ourselves as an ice breaker. One woman just said that her hobby is "Debunking Conspiracy Theories". I had to ask her for more information on this. She is currently working on debunking the "birther myth" her website is http://www.thefogbow.com/ I think I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

I always just say "I like pizza" in those ice breaker things, some people appreciate that I'm making fun of the stupidity of the activity. Others just think I'm really into pizza.

I just talk about my kids. No one gives a fuck what anyone says, and if you say something legitimately interesting, then you have to talk more about it. Next time I'm going to say I spend a lot of time on a Phillies message board with an unhealthy obsession with masturbation and drinking. I wonder what kind of reaction that will bring.

In my freshman year ice breaker, I was asked what animal I could be if I got to choose. I used the Bart Simpson "A butterfly, because nobody ever suspects the butterfly." One kid got it, and he laughed out loud. Everyone then stared at him for laughing, which really took the pressure off of me.
