Well to be fair FOX was originally thought to be locked into the Sunday 1PM spot and Buck/Aikman discussed doing the rematch, but NBC decided to screw things up by taking the game...

BTW this new company is based in Tampa. I guess I shouldn't bring up sports in the meeting with the Bobs huh...

Just found out that my friend's husband, a great jazz bassist, is playing a show with his trio at midnight Saturday night in midtown. So at least if the Eagles game is another fucking nightmare like yesterday, I can flee it for something fun.

I never post here because it's stupid and all BUT rather than further sullying the wings thread, let me just say that I find it UNBELIEVABLE that Big Ed bumped that thing before me. I mean, I had been planning ALL YEAR to reply to that right at the very tale end of December 31st with my stupid joke and was FOILED.

ACTUALLY, what's even more unbelievable is that it took until just NOW for me to even notice that it had been bumped prior to my posting. I thought my plan had gone off without a hitch and just that all of your minds were too blown to even respond to it. Then I saw that mozart posted and is all like, I find this funny, and I'm kind of like mouthing, yeah, alright, nodding my head with approval of his lame comment, and then I see the several posts made right before my two and am now in a state of NEAR INFURIATION. I actually had that page loaded up on my Iphone Safari for SEVERAL DAYS leading up to NYE just so that I would remember to post that night that I didn't even bother to refresh it before posting, because, honestly, who IN THE BLAZES would have ever thought to pull that thing back up. Sheer Hellish Miasma.

i had to do that several times through out student teaching. there were three options with each question that basically boiled down to 100 percent of the time, rarely, and never.


i got yelled at for answering 100 percent of the time for some of them. they told me there is no way i was that good at teaching. i told them their survey sucked and there was no middle ground between all the time and never. they didnt like me much.

Calvin Ball is absolutely a cool guy and I really like reading his posts. But sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up in a cold sweat when I realize he teaches our kids. And now he's gonna be a constable and if they let him carry a gat I'll really start with the nightmares.

But then I remember I don't have kids and I live really far away so I can relax.

I will be in town on Saturday night, taking in numerous jazz performances @ Winter Jazzfest, & would like to include a midtown option on my list (no midtown events on the WJ agenda, but I'm not going to stand on ceremony).
