I also hate iTunes. I just reinstalled it to fill up a friend's iPod; where are all my albums broken in pieces by artist even when I tell it to list them by title. Hate it.

Yeah. Instead of Blazing Arrow, I've got

Blazing Arrow (Blackalicious)
Blazing Arrow (Blackalicious; Cut Chemist)
Blazing Arrow (Blackalicious; De La Soul)
Blazing Arrow (Blackalicious; Lyrics Born)
times seven more

I just got back from the grocery store. My total was $11.11. The cashier tells me I should be play the number 11 in the lottery. I then explain to her the whole Daulton thing and then she looks at me like suddenly I'm the crazy one.

Joe Millionaire was such a great idea for a television show. I wish it just came out now.

Sometimes I wish that that I never saw an episode of Seinfeld until now so I could fully understand every single joke at the same time. I feel like I would pause after every episode to reflect on everything that I took in. When I was a kid, I would say I got 70 percent of the jokes.

No, it doesn't. The album info for each is Blazing Arrow.

Yeah, just highlight all of the songs on the album, right click, go to "Get Info" or something like that, and just fill it in once -- it will apply to all of the songs.

Why doesn't the History Channel just change it's name to "ALN-Apocalypse, Lumberjacks, and Nostradamus"?

Well, I'm just going to keep using WMP for my stuff, but it is a little annoying that I would have to make a bunch of song's Album Artist field Stax Story Disc 1 for them to show up in the same album on my iPod. You'd think them having the same, y'know, ALBUM, would do that.

Close.

I do wonder if I'm the only person alive who actually cycles through their iPod by album. I know tons of people love shuffle, so there must be some merit to it, but I don't get it.

I got an iPod for Christmas and I just got done putting all of my music on iTunes. My computer really sucks and it would crash every 5-10 albums I put on. It's not like I have a ridiculous amount of music(total of 31GB), but it still took me the better part of 2 weeks to do.

After all of that, I dropped $250 today on a dock for the car and one for the living room. I hate Apple right now.

I had no problem changing the info with the "get info" option, but it does mean going through album by album, which is tedious at best.

I love shuffle because it makes me listen to songs I wouldn't consciously select for various reasons. It has reintroduced me to songs that I had forgotten about or developed an irrational disliking.

Listening to a whole album is pretty tedious too since it's very rare for an album to be full of great songs. That's why I mentioned Between the Buried and Me's Colors in the music thread -- it's one of the few albums I can think of where I can listen start to finish and not have any criticism whatsoever. That's a frickin' feat.

Tomato tomato, but there are at least a hundred albums I love from start to finish.

We should dig up that thread Phan Paul started a million years ago
