I saw them the night before Game One. Really good stuff, and they're probably better now since that was something like their second show, and they've since recorded. I actually like the originals better than the rejiggered classic rock tunes, but it's all fun.

My gf read it, loved it, and has already told me that we have to go see the movie

I loved the book and was very excited for the movie.
However, I have a friend who saw it a month ago (she's in the film industry and got a preview) and said it was horrible. Too many "trippy" scenes with the dead girl in "heaven" and not enough real movie.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

I'm putting together a post that I knew would be long and take a lot of effort, but I think I misunderestimated the amount of time it would take

............. ugh.

And no, Barry, the "burned poop" thing was my own terrible idea. I'll take responsibility for my own crappy posts, thank you very much (hey, crappy...... poop.... ha.)

And it was Madden 09. For the Wii. It's his again.

Iridium is a nice place--the food isn't bad, and a acoustics are great.

Okay, I'm not going to the gym tonight. 26 degrees with wind, to and back from the subway station and the bus that never comes when it's below about 40? Fuck that.

Should have gone earlier. I'll go tomorrow.

My high school yearbook photo looks exactly like Fiorello Laguardia's high school yearbook photo.
