I'm surprised they aren't doing an MRI or CT scan because it could be a bulging disc related issue. Then again they may be able to see something like that on the bone scan but I'm not sure.

I think they're only acting aggressively due to the cancer risk, and otherwise are following the same protocols they would for a normal person with back pain. If an MRI would show the same things they look for on a bone scan, they might just do that to kill two birds with one stone, but as I understand it the bone scan can show some things that other scans can't.

Anyway, the oncologist called today and said that they wanted to go ahead and do the bone scan. Apparently this is pretty common for former breast cancer patients because it's not unusual for the cancer to metastasize to the bones.

Although I know it's the TV thread, I'm perplexed that any thread with "Who wants to marry DSP" in the title got a single reply...

So I'm a complete moron, but especially when it comes to looking at houses. We're just now starting to get look into it, with my wife out of school and starting work soon. I'll probably have a lot of questions, but one I thought of after watching HGTV is what happens if you have a $300,000 loan, and decide on a $250,000 home?

It's really an "up to" kind of thing. I don't think there's an official loan until closing.

Yeah, $300K is the max the bank will pre-approve a mortgage for. Realtor care about this a lot, cause without that the seller can't take your bid seriously. It's not a guarantee that the bank will give you a mortgage, from what I understand. It's kind of like a letter of intent.

Man, I need to read a lot on this. Luckily our friend is going to be our realtor, so he'll be able to go help us know what we need to know

yes meatball is going to live near me now too. me you woddy and all the wcu students here should get together every friday for bridge and some wine coolers.

You're just mocking me now, because I'm pretty sure I'm the only BSGer who plays bridge, and our little group broke up since a couple of the players died of old age and I haven't played in about a year and it sucks.
