some old dude talked my ear off about college football and Vegas at Moriarty's this evening. it was really great having a sort of neighborhood-y conversation downtown like that. i'll probably keep going back there since it's pretty close to work. and next time i'll get the wings.

i used to go all the time b/c the bartender is cool as shit and would charge my friends and I $8 for about 12 drinks. The wings are hit and miss, though. I've had good ones and then ones that weren't cooked all the way through

Nice job Samsung Glyde, break after 14 months. Thanks. I turned the damn phone off last night and everything was fine. Turn it on today and all of a sudden the screen has that cracked look. Never buying a touch screen phone ever again.

Last night, I gave my friend a dollar to get into the middle of the dance floor and do a ho-down (sp). He did the dance, and got really into it, for about a solid minute. As he began to stop, I joined in on the ho-down right when a group of girls came in to dance with him. I really reaped the benefits. I need to bring that kid out with me more.

I am authentically, 100% fucking miserable right now. It's pissing outside and the mess inside my head is a potent fucking mix of self-loathing, underachievement and questionable emotional awareness of anyone apart from my not so good self.

Fuck, I used to think I'd never get to this place. Now I'm here I need to get the fuck out. And stay focused. I've got a fucking family to love and take care of as best I can.
