In my peak glory years pitching in 8th grade I'm pretty sure I brought the 60 MPH smoke. But the mere fact that I could get the ball over the plate had some value.

I threw low 80's in college, and was pretty good. If Willie C just casually stepped up to a carnival speed pitch and threw 84 mph, he's really been wasting his time the past 10 years or so
