National Kick a Random Thought Day

So this oil spill.

Why can't they put some kind of vacuum hose down there to suck up (at least some of) the oil as soon as it comes out of the leak? If they can drill a billion feet below the water, surely they can vacuum? Right? Bucky?

I think they do have a siphony vacuumy thing but it's only getting a fraction of the oil.

I'll be 3 blocks south of City Hall tomorrow for a Microsoft event. Fun. :|

8 hours of listening to speeches and demos about Microsoft products I've never used. But hey, I'm out of the office and I might get prizes, then I'm off for 4 days. Can't complain I guess...

What event? I want in. Seems like a good day not to come to work.

Driving to that area isn't much fun though. A quick question for anyone that's been in that area since it's been a while for me: where does the Hyatt/Bellevue parking garage exit onto? Chancellor St.? Do you have to go onto 15th then Locust to go northbound on Broad?

Vox, I'll be at this

Bah, software developer crap. It'd be too boring for me.
