The most important thing right now is to completely cut off all communication with her- no calls, texts, emails etc... She will think you don't care at all which will drive her absolutely crazy. If it was meant to be you will hear from her shortly.

Phight On is right about cutting off all communication. But while sleeping with her in a few weeks would be fine, don't even think about getting back together with her. There's nothing more pathetic than dealing with another break up with the same person.

This actually worked for me with my gf. If some of you recall from the relationship thread, I had broken up with her because she wanted to go back into the Army. 2 weeks after having 0 contact with her, she texted me to hang out, which led to awkward sex, which led to getting back together 2 weeks later. Now she's not going back to the Army and I'm getting laid on a regular basis.

Of course, she could just never talk to you again...

So I found out yesterday that my identity was stolen and between 2 web hosting companies (one in Washington and another in Portland) they got me for almost 20K. Both of them were taking out $1600 every few days for 2.5 weeks. I admit I should have paid A LOT more attention to my checking account but I set up all of my bills to be paid automatically and didn't even realize what happened until I went to the ATM and actually looked at the receipt (I usually just crumpled them up and threw them out without even looking at them like a fucking idiot).

I had to freeze all of my accounts with a few different banks. I was told that the company in Portland was being very cooperative with my bank but the one in Washington wasn't. Their phone number was right on my statement so I decided to give them a call. No matter what the situation is, if I have to call any company for any reason I usually give each person I talk to ~2 minutes before I tell them to put their supervisor on and so on and so on until the situation is rectified. Anyway it took about 10 minutes but eventually I got through to someone (most likely the owner of the company) who actually had the authority to do something about it but dude was acting like a complete dick to me. After talking to him for a few minutes I got so frustrated and pissed off that I told him that I knew EXACTLY where HIS company is located and now knew HIS name. I didn't actually go so far as to directly threaten him but kind of suggested that if he wasn't willing to be a little more helpful perhaps it might be in everybody's best interest to sit down and talk face to face. He didn't change his tone. In anything he started acting like an even bigger douche-bag and I reached the point where I just had to hang up. I admit I was so pissed off that I really did consider flying across the country *to discuss the situation, not to do any physical harm* but after about an hour I thought about it rationally and knew that if I did anything like that it wasn't going to help me get my money back. I know I will get it back eventually but I still can't believe how immature he was was acting.

Man, that sucks td. It'll be OK though, perfect time to have a summer fling!

Geez, that Bret Michaels fella's kinda falling apart like an old Oldsmobile. First the dude's appendix esploded, then a brain hemorrhage, then a stroke last week, and now he needs surgury to fix a hole in his heart (what caused the stroke).

Everyone is right. stay away. Stay well away. A bit of peace and quiet will give you a ton of perspective.

Also, speaking from personal experience, don't forget the bit where you get REALLY FUCKED OFF WITH THEM FOR DUMPING YOU. Sure, maybe there were reasons on both sides, and maybe in time, you'll work that out so you don't do it with anyone else, but a bit of healthy anger when dumped is very productive. Just don't go punching any walls or people. Just vent to your mates.

My grandmother passed away last night. I can't believe how quick it all just happened. Luckily, I was able to get home this weekend and see her both Saturday and yesterday morning to say goodbye.
