Seems to me if he asked you to be a part of it and didn't mention anything about your beard then he probably doesn't care. Of course, I'm only saying this because I know nothing about your job or your boss, and it doesn't effect me in the slightest.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Is there a "neatly trim" option? Keep the beard but cut it back so you at least don't look like Wolfman? I've been hanging in that zone for the past few months and I'm doing OK.

not permitted. you can only groom (within allowable limits) a playoff beard between rounds. i'm keeping this thing, dammit.

I would have thought it self-evident that evidence-based medicine was hyphenated thusly. teh interwebs dispute this.

Kind of ironic, I'm at whatever the opposite of rock bottom is at least for tonight. I'm in the penthouse there is nowhere else to go.

I can't remember if there's a thread for this stuff and if there was, I'm too lazy to find it, so I'm hoping to get an answer here. Any of you who took the GREs get a practice book for it? Looking online, they're relatively cheap $10-$15. Is it worth getting?

i have the princeton review book. i like it quite a bit, definitely worth the $15, imo. lots of helpful little tips and techniques and strategies on how to approach the exam.

although, i haven't actually taken the GRE yet (end of june/beginning of july most likely).

I know I've posted about this before. But right now I'm staring at this jump drive that holds 4 fucking gigs of data, and I think that's just fucking amazing. 4 gigs. 4 fucking gigabytes of data. I remember when a mac fanboy friend of mine got a hard on for a hard drive with 250 megs-- .25 gigs! I remember thinking about fucking kilobytes. But now, I can hold 4 gigs on a piece of tchothcke? Fuck.

Not only that, those fuckers are robust. I've run a couple through the washer and the dryer, and it doesn't matter. Not a bit.

But damn if the little plastic bit you would use to attach it to a key chain didn't fucking break off.
