My license expired 2/28. I got it renewed 9 days late. Lock me up and throw away the key.

This has nothing to do with your poor driving record. It has to do with your hypocrisy. You're being a hypocrite because you went from describing the same exact situation that I was involved in yesterday with what you were involved with last year except now you're taking a completely different stance. It was a stupid law that you didn't understand when it happened to you. Likewise when it happened to you, you didn't know why we couldn't be treated like adults and be able to drive 70+ with no cars around on a straight stretch of highway which was exactly my situation. There wasn't a car in front or behind me by at least a half mile.

Who cares if I know him? Are you really that naive? Barry has first hand experience with this because his dad was a cop. Like he said, it doesn't make it right, it isn't fair, and you may not like it but that's the way it is. Obviously every NJ traffic cop that has ever pulled me over in the last 10 years cares or I wouldn't have been given a warning instead of a ticket every time I have been pulled over (definitely less than 10 times- more like 6 or 7). Bottom line is cops look after other cops and their families whether you like it or you don't.

I should also add that I got pulled over on 322 not too far west of Harrisburg and it got me out of a speeding ticket, but I didn't have my registration with me so I got a ticket for that. So it's not gotten me out of every jam, even if it's a help.

Basically, after that issue, I was a little upset I had to pay a ticket, but I was more upset at myself for not making sure I had the right registration with me (I think I had registration for one of my parent's cars instead). The guy did let me off with a much cheaper, much less punitive ticket, though. 322's a real bitch because it goes from 65 to 55 with one sign's warning (and I missed that sign), and then about two miles later it goes to 45. I think I was going about 79 in a 55 there because I thought I was in a 65.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

If you're on a multiple lane highway and you tap on the breaks to throw off someone who is coming up real quickly on you, you're probably also the type of person who acts like a know it all douchebag on a baseball message board because your wife keeps your balls in her purse and you have very few outlets for acting important.

Which is exactly one of the reasons why people dislike and distrust cops.

I'd say I'm more forceful/opinionated because of my job/responsibilities and always having to be an eager people person. No reason to suffer fools on this board though.

I think that only transfers over to my posting though, my driving is pretty chill, I just think it's absurd that people act like its their right to go 85 MPH on a highway. MUCH more dangerous than me.

sometimes, if i'm in the left lane, and all the people in front of me are going basically the same amount over the speed limit, and the people to our right are going slower at a proportional pace, and the monkeybutt behind me is on my tail, i'll put my left turn signal on and invite him to smash himself into a concrete wall.

the physics of 70 to 97 are so different, its ridiculous (every 5 mph is exponentially more dangerous in regards to you controlling your car) but whatever. AND I HAVE ADMITTED I WAS WRONG, YOU NEVER DID. Youve also had many a 'fun story' about almost (or actually?) beating individuals on the sides of roads for various dubious indiscretions. My story was 11 months ago and had time to reflect on it...I DONT GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT ON THAT HIGHWAY ANYMORE. The ticket worked for me, I changed my habits. Will you, other than getting a new license? Will you suddenly go the limit?

The fact that you just go right to trying to use those cards is what upsets me. It's just so bold and disgustingly brazen. It's also quite flippant about the law and what it means. You really should think about that. It seems to me those close to cops should know the law better, and be more respectful of it.

It's just amazing that you've tried to make a 97 mph ticket, when obviously you';ve had many a previous ticket before, into the same thing as a dumbass getting and reacting to his first ticket from driving 70, and then actually changing his ways. Again, I'm not the only one that's said you're crazy here, but you've decided to only reply to me in order to make yourself feel a little superior about bringing down that damned hypocrite without reflecting at all on what exactly brought us here. I didn't drive your car, you did.

...wait, you don't have a 95 Ford, do you? If so, I might've driven your car, dude.

I had a friend who was going 120 on 81 down in Southern Virginia. He went to jail for 7 days because of it. If only he had a FOP card.

120 sounds like a lot, but I've driven one of these and you can feel like you're driving 70 and then you look down at the speedometer and suddenly you're like, "Oh crap, I'm going mach 2!"

I thought the headline on google news said that someone named Mexico Slim was now the world's richest person, which would have to, I think, be bad news.

Going back to school down 81 was the worst. Almost 200 miles on that piece of shit.

years ago i would go to a quizzo at o'neals with my buddy and a random third (sometimes fourth) person pretty much every tuesday. there was this one group of donkeys, full of penn kids, that would play with like 14 people on their team. and they acted like arrogant pricks the entire time, celebrating obnoxiously and whatnot and not getting that they were ruining the world with their awfulness. well once the theme round was baseball, and we totally ran them... dominated. only they stormed out of the bar before goodtimes could read the results. i mean, i like a good villain and all, but don't be a bad human being.

It's unclear how it gets better than having your day made at 2:10 PM, having three great Big East games to come, being four beers deep, and having a table full of pizza and a fridge full of beer.
