apply for teaching jobs is the worst. you have to put together about 15 different documents from cover letter, resume, application, clearances, references letters and beyond. i am sure i griped about this before but it is miserable. every time too i forget i need transcripts so i have to order them from my university.

this all for a job that is considered .2... which is just teaching ONE class.

The spin in the chair was great. I got the best 30 seconds of the whole thing. He was actually really funny the whole time.

These things are always very weird. They play here as, like, their pitch for us to use one of their songs in an ad or something. The odds of that happening, regardless of the band, are about a million to one. It's always very awkward for everyone involved. The bands never actually want to be here and we rarely ever want to see them because of how awkward it is. But we always have pizza and beer at these things so I'm not complaining.

The most awkward of all was when Hulk Hogan came and talked about how he'd be a good pitch man.

Oh, that's every dad's voice...

In my dad's case though, he worked in a loud factory for 40+ years and has thus lost a significant percentage of his hearing. He also has this green glow because of all the illegal waste dumping there, so at least my folks save some monies on the electric bill.
