How many times can a Greg Paulus say "Ya Know" in a five minute interview?

Colbert would be proud.

And if he could compete for a Michigan starting QB job, my God how bad things could get in Ann Arbor. Aside from all the dongs that the whore took:

Crash you are kinda being a whiner.

Did you email your professor and tell them that you were sick that day? Or did you just not show up? You missed that class you were supposed to give the speech in. You knew that when you skipped. Really it is your fault not some attendance policy's fault.

The vast majority of my teachers were of the opinion that they didn't care whether we came to class or not as long as we did well. Actually, I doubt very many of them gave a shit about that either. But if a teacher did care about attendance it was generally a good idea not to try to call their bluff.

I think this argument would be a lot more balanced if a) it wasn't Crashburn Alley's fourth absence from a class that heavily depends on class participation, b) if he hadn't bene absent on the day he had to give a speech, and c) if we knew why he missed his other three classes.

Seriously, I pretty much dropped out because of absences. If you're not making it to class almost every day of the semester, you deserve to be docked.

Thanks, looks like my dad has some $$ comoing to him. Less than $100, but it's something.

And I may have something in Vermont, though it's hard to tell. It's my name, but the address is slightly different. There was another guy in my department with my same name, so maybe it's him -- but it's an unusual name, so who knows.

Yeah, I am. Sorry if that's annoying to you guys, but I do think I have a right to be a little agitated.

If I didn't mention it before, thanks for the feedback because it's good to look at the situation from a different perspective.

First question: Yes. Second question: No.

Other students were allowed to make up the speech but I wasn't because I missed one more day of class than they did, and now that puts me behind the 8-ball for the next speech. I didn't know that part, and it's not on her syllabus at all and she never went over this rule.

Re: A) Understood; B) Understood; C) I can't remember why I missed class the first time, but I missed two to go to a wake and because my car wouldn't start (I made a post about it a short while ago), and then the fourth was the aforementioned.

This particular speech class, unlike others, relies a lot on bookwork, which makes class participation much less important. As mentioned, we only have to give five speeches in a semester that spans from mid-January to mid-May.

Saw this on Google news. I've tried to read this about 10 times and my head hurts each time:

THE RIAA is so terrified its expected drubbing at the hands of a one of Harvard's top legal minds will get a wide dissemination that it has managed to block the trial being taped for the internet

The Express Lane is not for you to use a zillion coupons and pay for your 15 items with multiple gift cards when I'm standing behind you with just a half-gallon of milk.

I have been this person (the one in front of you), but only when the cashier says, come here to this empty line. I always feel guilty about it.

There's some sort of protest in front of my building and they're using a bullhorn. At times like this I wish my office didn't have a window. Its really loud, moreso than regular Times Square noise.
