I take the capsules right now and haven't ever experienced an after taste or anything like that. Fairly cheap to get a 5 month supply at Wal-Mart (I think like 12.99 for 300).

is that stuff for real? are people actually seeing a difference taking all these vitamins, or does it just make your pee look funny colors?

Yeah, I take them too--two every morning. I haven't had a problem either. Just glug 'em down with orange juice or something.

Though I've never taken the stuff myself, I used to work with a pharmacist who recommended storing fish oil caplets in the freezer. Apparently this way it wouldn't break down until reaching the intestines.

Fishy farts are better than fishy burps.

Fish oil is pretty well proven to work. The FDA even approved a prescription version (Lovaza).

I have more faith in fish oil than say, Centrum. On the former, it's pretty logical - you need to get so much oil into your system in a day and it isn't easy depending on your eating habits. It's easy to accept that the outer coating of those honky pills dissolve away and provide the oil. Those hard multi-vitamins on the other hand? Snake oil.

I mean, not necessarily - but it's really hard to prove the benefits or not, and there have been tons of studies that show that most multi-vitamins (and that type) don't even dissolve properly in your body - making them useless. I think the test was to sit a vitamin in a glass of vinegar - if it didn't dissolve in 20 minutes don't bother taking them. Something like that.

My blood pressure was really good by the way--110/55. That's nice to know, since I do have hypertension in my family.

I'm also going to get the snip. I wish people would comments about doctors on the interweb especially when they're going to have a sharp object near your privates.

I went to a pizza hut/wing street the other night, by far the worse waitress I've had in quite some time... I watched her wait on a few other tables in our area just to see what her deal was, she was equally as crappy, if not worse... She forgot to come back to get our order, and another tables... I had to get up and ask the seater if we could get our order taken because it's been like 15-20 minutes since we last saw her...

She pulled the same crap on another table

But this is what amazed me, SHE DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANY OF IT... she could honestly care less and throughout the meal offered subpar service...

instead of being mad or getting irritated, which i did for a brief time early on in the meal, I BECAME JEALOUS... I only wish I could go through life not caring about my job and what my boss thinks as much as she did... I firmly believe this woman without dying in an accident will live till she is 100... I want to not give a fuck about stuff, yet I always find myself worrying about stupid stuff and trying to please people, whether it be at work or driving my car and waving people on first...

I must find a way to develop this skill and insert it into my everyday life... I'm sure there is repercussions with this attitude, but if said attitude is correctly used, you shouldn't give a flying fuck anyway, right?!?!?

I empathize with waiters and waitresses and others who depend on tips and I actually tip more -- if I can spare it -- than I used to. I tipped 50% when I got a haircut a couple days ago.

I have tipped nothing before because servers have been so bad. Screw 'em I say.

then you have to tip a single penny. A zero tip just means you're cheap; a penny tip means that the service was horrible.

What if I don't have a penny? Can I leave some bellybutton lint or something?
