You know you're at a Georgetown game when there are multiple signs around the arena referring to the Monroe Doctrine.

my 7-year-old cousin doesn't know who i am. he came to my house last week (i was still away in state college) and asked my parents why they had four stockings up. one for my dad, one for my mom, one for my sister...but couldn't figure out who the fourth one was for. he asked if it was for the dog.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

At the Triada lounge in Old City where four bartenders and an owner were arrested Friday for serving without a license, police noted that the bar menu listed $200 for a bottle of Absolut and $450 for a bottle of Grey Goose. But in the back room, investigators said, they found empty bottles of the premium vodka near full bottles of Banker’s Club, a rot-gut vodka purchased for $7 in New Jersey.

Sgt. William La Torre of Liquor Control Enforcement said he questioned the owner, Gregory J. Wright, who told him he substituted the cheaper liquor because “times are tough.”

Actually, it could be really helpful--if you're in a situation and you don't want anyone to know you're calling the police, sending a text might be a lot more discreet.

If you don't think it's enough, put more on.

People who don't live on the East coast. But it is ridiculous, especially since late games start at fifteen after the hour.

West of Harrisbvurg is the Great American Desert. You have to keep heading west for hundreds -- nay thousands -- of miles. Then you hit the west coast. There's a few folks who live out here. Not many though. We do get 60 Minutes at 7 though.
