Big Sur is phenomenal. Driving out there would be pretty tedious, not to mention expensive.
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

Way more expensive than when I drove from VA to CA back in 99 when gas was under a buck in VA (and got progressively more expensive as I traveled west until it was $1.50 in SF).

Big Sur's most prominent claim to fame is in being the subject of a Joboggi photo/avatar

I drove from New Jersey to Arkansas with the check engine light on.

(It actually went on before we left for New Jersey 4 weeks ago, and the mechanic took care of the "major" issue, but it went back on early in our trip.)

It is likely to be something pretty simple or basic--maybe your gas cap isn't screwed on right.)

No, I checked the gas cap b/c that used to happen to my old Jetta all the time (I think the check engine light was on 40% of the time I owned the car). Who the heck knows, I'll have to make an appointment I guess

If you bought your Chevy from Arnold Baker Chevrolet, they'd probably diagnose it for free. At least they did for me.
