Like the machines sending a Terminator back in time to prevent John Connor from being born, and having that action directly result in his conception?

Alannis Morisette should have mentioned that in her song.

Expecting better than 4-2 this week was a stretch no matter what. This sucks but it ain't over and the Nats aren't going to take two out of three from us.

tough loss

Eaton just sucks the life out of this team. Has done it all year, just kills momentum every time he starts. I hate him.

161 games has decided nothing.

Too tight today. They all need to go out tonight, get drunk, and shoot rats in a junkyard or something.

That's just asinine rationalization.

The offense SUCKED today, and if they are so easily 'darined' by the starting pitcher, smack em around a little...they scored 2 runs on 2 solo homers and had a variety of poor at bats.

Adam Eaton is not to blame for that at all, except by people who are just looking for things to blame adam eaton for and ignore the facts...you know, like WIP fans

I am well aware the offense sucked today. I think a pitcher should be able to get through 3 innings without getting into serious trouble in each one. If he shuts them down in the first things could be different. Maybe not. We'lll never know. But I think shifting blame away from Eaton is asinine.

Your logic makes absoultely no sense to me...

The bats sucked today

they were dominated by Matt Chico

Who cares WHO PITCHED, 4 runs from the nats, the phils offense should be able to beat that against MATT FUCKING CHICO

They beat themselves, but Eaton didn't help. I think it's right that his failure to TCOB in the first inning set something of a tone.

Still, Manuel had the quick hook and the bullpen allowed one earned run in 6 2/3. That should be enough for this team, in OFJOAB.
