A real estate agent who brought people over to see the house yesterday needed me to let him (not common).

Dude was dressed like he was waiting for his walk-on role on the The OC -- white t-shirt sticking out of a striped polo, drawstring linen pants, flip flops, and sunglasses with gradient blue lenses.

Strange. Very strange.

Thursday morning woke up to find my house was the target of a black ant home invasion--about two dozen of them wandering through the house--mostly hanging out in the living room. Killed them all and left for work wondering what I'd find when I got home. About 8 were hanging out then.
Didn't want to think about how many more would come in overnight...so, there I was in the dark, with a big old container of Ortho Home Defense bug spray with a spray pump, spraying all around the outside of the house. And as I was doing it realized how strange that must have looked, I've officially become "the weird neighbor"......

Powdered lipton chicken noodle soup and a sleeve of saltines really makes the sick go away.

I only wish I could have found giggle noodle.

Last night before she went to sleep, my daughter said, "Nightmares can be interesting."

Kinda similar when a year ago my 8 year old son recounted a dream he had where he was a vampire and said it was "neat".

I don't think so, exactly. I think it was in part because she had been watching this show on the Disney channel called Twiches, which she said was scary, but she liked it. I think she was a little afraid it would give her nightmares.

She does seem, however, to enjoy telling stories that scare her friends.

Sounds like a good first scene- and tag line- for a horror flick.

Get on it Vox, Jem, & LaEx.

I was just picturing the girl from Poltergeist saying in a creepy voice, "nightmares are so interesting..." SHYMALAN MOVIE WAITING TO HAPPEN. SELL IT TO LAEXILE

I don't know - "interesting" just doesn't cut it. Maybe "Daddy, nightmares really f*$# you up"... now we're talking.

Put her on a bus that can't go slower than 60 MPH and were'set.
