it's january 13th and i haven't turned on the heat in my apartment yet.

i recently started playing foosball and it's my favorite thing of 07 so far (the television masterpiece "cheaters" coming in a close second). if you have the means, i highly recommend it.

the playoff scouting reports by big daddy drew on kissing suzy kolber are the funniest things on the information super freeway these days.

miss lippy's car is green.

it's 9:14 in the morning, i'm a hair hungover and i don't feel like using caps.

if i hear "smack that" one more time on the radio I'll shoot myself or someone else. just bought a new car and haven't transferred the xm over yet, and i haven't had the time to burn some cds.
610 is unbearable, wxpn is hit or miss, and NPR used to be more than just politics.

i applied to the phillies as an usher but haven't heard anything back yet.

the shortest measurable unit of time is the instant between the light turning green in philadelphia and someone beeping at you.

NPR on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons is the shizzle. The rest of the week, not so much.

This is something I spend a lot of time thinking about. A lot.

I'm reading a great book about them, and the other serious strip comics of yore. Terry and the Pirates is pretty impressive, Alley Oop isn't so bad either. It's a shame that strip comics are a dead art. I would love to personally resurrect it, but where and how?

And that Prince Valiant appears to have always been lame.

Oh, and the Yankees won't let Abreu play winter ball.

I saw something once. Lions and a dead carcass. The rest have been ducks. My wife was obsessed for a while.

If Abreu plays baseball in the off season in the Southern Hemisphere, technically it is not winter ball.

If I got my PhD at Jackass University it wouldn't be much of an elitist PhD, now would it, smart guy?
