In Oregon, it's now prescription-only. I know this because I was there for Christmas and got a cold, but couldn't get Sudafed. Let me tell you, air travel with sinus congestion is excruciating.

According to a newsletter we received recently, the number of active meth labs in the country is down 40% since the laws went into effect. I don't have it anymore so I'm not quite sure how they came up with the numbers.

Honestly, outside of the thread you site, I don't see too many instance of the "s" sure there are plenty of interwebs around but that's about it.
