25. They keep installing more of those newfangled things, dagnabit.

True story: Until recently, there was only one light between here and the Texarkana Airport--about an hour away. Now there's three.

Easily manipulated facts:

Between my house and Philadelphia International airport there are 3 lights 1.5 hour ride

Between my house and Lehigh Valley International Airport there are 4 lights 30 min. or so ride

Between my house and Newar Airport there are 2 lights. a little over an hour ride.

I should have pointed out that practically none route is a controlled access highway.

I felt bad for the traffic guy on KYW. It was like an auction every 10 minutes.

You'd think someone would clean that up.

"Back to the Future 3" is a really, really bad movie.

But it has Lea Thompson, so I'll leave it on...

Yesterday was the most productive day I've had in months. The entire first floor of the house is in proper working condition - the living room looks like a living room. If I can do that in the basement today, we'll have a wonderful organized and clean house that isn't covered in boxes and tubs and we can finally hibernate for the winter.

The next party you throw, make this blue cheese dip and people will like you:
8 oz cream cheese, whip it good.
Add:
1/4 cup of half and half
7 slices of chopped bacon, brown 'em for a bit, then throw in 2 cloves of garlic and cook for a bit longer
4 oz of blue cheese crumbles
some chopped chives

Throw it in the oven for 30 min at 350. Toss some chopped almonds on top of it, schedule and angioplasty and enjoy.

Wikipedia is probably the closest our species can come to the Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Except that most of Wiki's content has to do with things on Earth, and as we all know, the Guide's Earth entry had only two words. But the concepts are pretty similar.

I came across this on wiki...

Anyone hear of this before? And I can't imagine figuring that out after 1000 years.
