Both. From here to Atlantis and back.

Are you hoping for an ice storm that leaves millions without power for a week or more?

Worse. I want The Day After Tomorrow. I want Al Gore's revenge on everyone for laughing at him.

I'm going to college at home and she's away, so its def. harder on her. But still, this is probably the most confused we've both been in a long time. It does weird things to your head.

How did you guys come out of it in the end? Is she the one you proposed to recently?

My situation was similar to yours. I was at college for two years while she was still home in high school, then we stayed long-distance for 2 years after that while she was in college, too. It was extremely hard, no doubt.

It got considerably harder when she went to Australia for a semester...I got an email (yes, an EMAIL) telling me she couldn't deal with the distance anymore, and we were breaking up. Although I found out later she started dating an Aussie and continued it after she got back to the states, so I guess distance wasn't really the problem.

Needless to say, no, she's not the one I just proposed to :)

Good luck, man. It's tough but doable if you're not dating an aussie-loving bitch.

The X Games athletes whore themselves out as much as Nascar drivers, except instead of Busch beer, it's Rock Star energy drink.

because i still have a lot of my friends from HS around for support and stuff. And I'm also living at home, meaning i'm not in the dorms, meaning i'm not meeting a lot of girls/people (which kinda sucks) and all that. She's away meeting all kinds of new people, especially boys who could give a shit that she already has a BF. In fact one already has, but i'm not getting into that.

And meatball-- glad it worked out for you in the end (even if it wasn't that girl. I'm sure the fiancee is much better.)

It sounds like it's tougher on you, in the big picture.

the guy who made the alphabet did a pretty good job. he just completely messed up 'w' - wholly unoriginal and phonetically it takes an eternity compared to the other 25 letters. if he could've seen the future and saw the internet and how we'd come to use 'www' so much i think he'd have a conniption.

School starting times need to change. Little kids are up at the crack of dawn, so why don't they start school at like 7:30? Instead, they start closer to 9:00. Teens, who are chronically sleep-deprived and could use the rest, have to start before 8:00. WTF? When I student taught, the seniors in first period were all half-asleep anyway. Stupid agrarian habits.
