The whole Arkansas thing is interesting--after 3 days of driving, we were finally about to see our new home. My wife hadn't been here before, and we were going through a part of Arkansas that was, well, pretty much what you'd expect. She looked at me and said, "What have we done?" Fast forward 6 years, and she seems to know everyone in town and has really settled in. I'm still waiting for a place that makes a decent sandwich.

It truly is disproportionate. There are people I hate that I don't reply to as often as you. It's a gift, I think. Maybe.

A lot of people might look down on my plan to walk the First Friday blocks tonight to ogle girls and troll for vino, but I sleep just fine.

The Strokes have a song called "Meet Me in the Bathroom" about that very topic and even though it's never happened to me that's the song I identify with the most in all of music. That or "Come Sail Away."

I'm looking out the window behind my cubicle and I never realized what a nice view I have. I've been in this office for 3 years and I've never just stopped to look out the window and enjoy the beauty that I have surrounding me.

Have you been following this crazy story about the Atlanta lawyer infected with a dangerous strain of tuberculosis who boarded a plane and exposed the other passengers. I remember when the only way a lawyer could make you sick was with his outlandish fees.

Back in the olden days they were hard -- really hard. They've been dumbing the test down for about 20 years. It's so kids today have high self esteem even though they can't get any good jobs or anything since all the good jobs for young kids are being outsourced to India and Taiwan.

But at least young folks today can think abut their really high SAT scores and feel good about that as they say: "You want fries with that?"

Twin Valley eh? I took 'em at Reading High. They didn't mean much to me. If they meant a lot to you then I hope you did well

We actually moved out of that place into a new house in March. And we did have to turn on the heat some time near the end of January.
