Is it antagonizing to answer an essay question with, "Actually, I think the change is mostly semantic"? Because that's the answer.

And the question is basically the same as last week. And next week.

FINAL EXAMS ARE POINTLESS

they do nothing but stress out students. why do you need to have a big test at the end of the year? what does that accomplish?
''I don't know what was harder - that (Phillies lineup) or the All-Star team lineup,'' Haren said.

Final exams were the tits. In high school, three days of half days for some paltry tests. In college, like a week and a half off to take four exams in! Breezy!

A Grown-Up Finally Busts Up High School Myths.

High School is...

1. ... easy. Really, really, really easy.
2. ... only important if you want to get into an Ivy League school.
3. ... melodramatic. On that subject, being melodramatic about high school doesn't prepare you for the real world, unless you want to be one of those people that no one likes (and gets told "it is what it is" a lot).

Here's a bonus, College is....

1. ... easy, but only really easy (for 75% of majors).
2. ... only important if you are going to an Ivy League school.
3. ... best accomplished between the ages of 18-21, when your actions on earth are irrelevant and you have zero resoponsibility (that Gap job or anguish for mother Earth is not a responsibility).

All true. Although I will add that if you go back to college when you are in your 30s or 40s you tend to discover you can actually get all As just by actually studying and doing the academic work you're supposed to do. Who knew? Sometimes I wish I tried that trick as an undergrad but not really. A 2.7 GPA was good enough for government work.

Truth...Ken if you're freaked out about High School exams maybe you should be looking at Community Colleges.

Well, finals were never too bad, but I doubt any but the most hard core Uncle Rico loser types would ever want to go back to high school.

Yeah, life afterwards with bills and yard work and jobs and stuff can be something of a drag, but in my experience, it beats the heck out of the grinding monotony of high school.

Now, college, on the other hand, was pretty awesome. I'd go back to that in a second. Being a dink (double income no kids) rocked as well--Me: You want to go to Italy? Her: Sure. Me: Great, let's go. 6 months later. Me: You want to go to Paris? Her: Sure. Me: Great, let's go.

Not really.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.
