For an extended period, not just 2013? Bonds' last three years in the mid/late 2000s when his body started to break down and WFC was about to happen

all this recent Zack Hample stuff brought back my favorite memory of my otherwise forgettable time as an usher at CBP: he was at a game filming a mastabatory piece about his garbage life, and i wouldn't let him in my section because he didn't have a ticket. i'm sure he still ended up getting 15 balls that night, but it felt so good.

did you read his letter to deadspin after they mocked him for complaining about getting knocked out of the way for gregorius' walk-off hr last week?

"i could make more than $100 at every game, on average, just by selling my batting practice baseballs. but i don't. instead i give a lot of them away for free, just to be nice and see kids' faces light up."

the whole thing is cringe worthy. what a loser.

crashburn weighs in:

His “skill” in catching souvenirs — including Alex Rodriguez’s 3,000th hit, a home run — has taken souvenirs from other fans, but in an effort to prove to each other that we love the military most, everyone’s jumping on Hample for taking a foul ball or a homer from a serviceperson. The eight-year-old Hample shoulder checks as he positions himself to catch a home run at Yankee Stadium is just as, and arguably more, deserving of the souvenir than a serviceperson, so where’s the outrage there?

Hard to believe that someone like him who is now a full time writer is really, really bad at writing.

There is a change.org petition to ban Zack Hample from all MLB ballparks.

That's like illegal or something and will likely only serve to make this snot more news worthy.
