Anyone have ESPN Insider? I'm curious as to the suggestions to Manfred to improve the game. The first one is to shorten the games to 7 innings. Bleh.

This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

Just think how great Allen would have been if he didn't drink so much, if he didn't badly cut up his hand and didn't injure his shoulder.

Guy could HIT in a pitcher's era.

Still think Cole has a really good shot at Cy Young. 12-2, second best ERA in the league. YOU CAN DO IT.

4 of the top 7 in the new Yankees top 30 prospect list released this morning weren't in the organization 2 months ago

#1 Frazier (from CLE)
#2 Torres (from CHC)
#6 Rutherford (draft)
#7 Sheffield (from CLE)

(and McKinney from CHC is #15)

The giants pinch hit a pitcher for a pitcher, Bumgarner for cain, then after madbum smashed a dbl off the wall they pinch ran another pitcher, samardzia, for Bumgarner. Samardzia went on to score.

Im guessing that string of events and pitching subs doesn't happen often if at all that way.
