really? I don't think I've seen an argument this year. I think the replay has genuinely changed the game or at least the non-playing part of the game.

Was he arguing balls and strikes? Hard to do that from the dugout.

I like when they pull the bases out and chuck them. Then they kick dirt all over home plate. I like the crazy minor league guy who high crawls to the pitcher's mound. Picks up the resin bag. Pulls the "pin" with his teeth and chucks it.

Padres executive chairman is upset:

Fowler singled out right-hander James Shields, who allowed 10 runs in 2 2/3 innings on Tuesday. Shields, who signed a four-year, $75 million free-agent contract with the Padres in February 2015, has been the subject of trade talks.

"To have a starter like (James) Shields perform as poorly as he did yesterday is an embarrassment to the team, an embarrassment to him," Fowler said.
