#Astros and #Phillies recently discussed Ken Giles. #Phillies brought up Lance McCullers and Vincent Velasquez, sources say. Phillies are getting a lot of hits on Giles and trade talks are likely to intensify in Nashville.
Flip McCullers for Ozuna?

I would have preferred to hold onto Ogando.

If the plural of anecdote isn't data, then I'm sure the singular of anecdote isn't either.
I'm sure he's a great fielder. He just can't hit AT ALL. He seems like a great 4th OFer on a good team, but is pretty useless on a team in the Phillies' position, imo. Altherr plays a pretty solid CF, as does Herrera, as does Quinn. I just don't see his purpose on the Phils. He didn't cost anything, which is nice, except a roster spot we could have used on someone who isn't redundant.

Quinn needs to stay healthy. He isn't ready for the big leagues yet. The Frenchman can keep the bench warm until he's ready. And Bourjos can play some defense during the season when we D up in the OF. Altherrr, Herrera and he would catch damn near everything lofted out there.

How do the non-tenders work? Is it like waivers?
