Kind of weird that the beat writers are pitching the "Phillies have liked Bourjos for years" narrative when almost every single major decision-maker in the front office has been here for less than a year at this point.

I'm not convinced the Phillies see Herrera as a long term solution in center so maybe they're planning to try him out at second and they need a short term plan in center (Bourjos) until Nick Williams is ready.
